ScoriaLite is a lightweight, pH neutral, low chloride/low sulfate (non reactive), and durable product, with an
added bonus of a wide variety of colors.
Our "ScoriaLite" lightweight aggregate is a Green Roof applicable material. Scoria Lite serves as the drainage
layer in the green roofing components. The material naturally insulates the growing medium and the material
absorbs moisture which will assist in the reduction of watering.
This material is not only lightweight in nature, it is durable, insulating due to its void structure, and a variety of
colors add to the aesthetic appeal of the roof landscape.
